West Sulawesi Plantation Agency: FFB in April 2024: Rp 2.380,56/Kg

InfoSAWIT, MAMUJU – To maintain the order and fairness for smallholders in West Sulawesi Province, Plantation Agency West Sulawesi Province regularly conducted meeting to decide performance index (P index) and fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price every month. The meeting was conducted in Hotel Berkah Mamuju, Wednesday, 17 April 2024 to decide FFB price in April 2024.

Assistant II in Economy and Development West Sulawesi Secretariat, Muhtar accompanied by Plantation Agency Secretary West Sulawesi Province, Andi Sitti Kamalia led the meeting. It was attended by Cooperation, Industry and Trade Agency, Labor Agency, Law Bureau, Economy and Development Bureau West Sulawesi Secretariat and Plantation Agency District of Mamuju and Pasangkayu. Chairmen of palm oil associations and 11 palm oil companies in the province did attend.

Andi Sitti Kamalia told that the regular monthy meeting was about to decide FFB price. “Alhamdulillah, after having lebaran holidays, West Sulawesi Plantation Agency did a meeting to decide FFB price in this province. This is a regular meeting in every month,” she said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of West Sulawesi Plantation Agency, Friday (19/4/2024).

In the meeting, every participant agreed that P index for April would be 84,40 percent with FFB price Rp. 2.380,56 per kilogram. "Today’s conclusion (Wednesday, 17 April 2024) was tough to decide P index to be 84,40 percent and FFB would be at Rp. 2.380,56 per kilogram," Andi Sitti Kamalia said.

These would be available for plasma and independent smallholders in partnership according to the Regulation of Minister of Agriculture Number 01/Permentan/KB.120/1/2018. The numbers would be available since Thursday, 18 April 2024 until the next decision. This would be the certain price for every planter in West Sulawesi Province. (T2)
