InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) West Kalimantan posted that crude palm oil (CPO) price gets cheaper based on what Plantation and Livestock Agency West Kalimantan Province decided. The most expensive CPO in March the second week was only Rp 17.049,44. While in May the second week was Rp. 12.727,15.
The drastic cheap CPO could be the impact of being difficult to export it after President Joko Widodo revoked CPO export ban.
Palm kernel oil (PKO) in March the second was Rp. 13.590,95/kg and in May the second it was only Rp 8.532,35/kg.
The cheap CPO and PKO used K index 92,87℅. For information, Plantation and Livestock Agency West Kalimantan Province decided the price based on multi-side stakeholders in the province. (T1)
