InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Ministry of Trade and Enterprises are in synergy with palm cooking oil stakeholders and launched MigorRakyat program, Tuesday (17/5). It is about to sell bulk palm cooking oil at Rp14.000/liter and right on target – those who are in low economy.
“The program is the stakeholders’ responsibility to the people. It fully runs the business among palm cooking oil distributors and retailers. There is no subsidy for the stakeholders and this would be the new model breakthrough in palm oil business,” Minister of Trade, Muhammad Lutfi said when seeing the launching in Jakarta, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.
General Director of Domestic Trade, Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan mentioned, MigorRakyat Program emphasized the retail transaction directly to the consumers – those who get low income. The stakeholders applied the business by using digital technology (tech) to make sure that bulk palm cooking oil should be sold at Rp 14.000 per liter and right on target. The retailers should sell it to the consumers/people about 1 or two liters per day based on their ID.
“The lists of location in MigorRakyat program that would use Gurih Indomarko and Warung Pangan IDFood can be accessed by anyone. Now there have been 1200 spots in five provinces, they are, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, East Java, North Sumatera, and North Sulawesi. In this very short the numbers would be 10.000 spots in Indonesia,” Oke mentioned. (T2)
