Satisfaction to President Jokowi’s Work Got Down 15% after Palm Cooking Oil Case and Expensive Fuel

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –Tuesday (26/4/2022), a survey institution Indikator Politik Indonesia released a survey about work satisfaction of the government -President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). From the survey, it is known the decreasing satisfaction to what President Jokowi did.

Prior in the early of January 2022, the people were satisfied to what Jokowi did and reached 75,3%. It was the highest numbers during his reign but in April, the trend went down to be only about 15% or just reached 59,9%.

The survey was running on 14 to 19 April 2022. “Those who were satisfied or very satisfied in total just reached 59,9%; less satisfied reached 38,6%. Still many were satisfied but the trend got decreasing,” Executive Director of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (26/4/2022).

He also mentioned, the survey was running to the people who have voting rights or more than 17 years old above or got married. It was also running in multistage random sampling that covered 1.220 people.

From the numbers, margin of error reached about 2,9% within the trust level about 95%. The samples derived from every province in Indonesia within face – to face interview.

The survey was also running on 14-19 April 2022 after the students rejected to election postponement and the announcement of palm cooking oil suspects by the Attorney. He also thought, the survey was dynamic and could be changing according to the economic and political situation. It was known that the biggest factor in the decreasing work satisfaction is about palm cooking oil case and the expensive fuel that made inflation.

In the survey, the respondents were questioned about: in general, how far are you sirs, very satisfied, satisfied enough, not satisfied to what President Joko Widodo did. The answers in the survey were: very satisfied: 10,2%; satisfied enough: 49,7%; less satisfied: 30,5%; not satisfied: 8,1%; and not know/no answer: 1,5%. (T2)
