InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – After the suspects on palm cooking oil export permit were decided which involved General Director of Foreign Trade Ministry of Trade (IWW), Minister of Tarde, Muhammad Lutfi assigned General Director of Consumer’s Protection and Commerce Ministry of Trade, Veri Anggrijono as General Director in duty of Foreign trade since Wednesday (20/4/2022).
General Secretary of Ministry of Trade, Suhanto said that this is to make public service run well and what they need would be well served.
“Minister of Trade assigned General Director of Consumer’s Protection and Commerce, Veri Anggrijono to be General Director of Foreign Trade in duty. The decision is the follow up from the ‘status’ of former General Director of Foreign Trade as the suspect of bribe or gratification about palm cooking oil export permit by the Attorney. This assignment is about to make sure that public service in foreign trade run well,” Suhanto said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.
Muhammad Lutfi also assigned General Inspector of Trade, Didid Noordiatmoko as the Head of Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency in duty which IWW was as the General Director of Foreign Trade. The decision was officially available since Wednesday (20/4/2022).
Suhanto also emphasized, every activity in Ministry of Trade ran normal on Wednesday. “We keep working and running our functions. We make sure that what we do today and in the next days will be running normal both in the permit service in the domestic and foreign trade, and other units,” he said. (T2)
