InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk (CSRA) is about to construct a second – 45 ton per hour capacity mill in District of South Tapanuli, North Sumatera Province. It is about to spend Rp 180 billion of investment.
The project fund derives from internal company and loan from Bank Mandiri. The mill will be operated by CSRA’s subsidiary - PT Samukti Karya Lestari. It is also scheduled that the second mill starts in January 2022 and would be finished in December 2022.
According to the company, the second mill will accelerate strategic plans of the company according to Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO).
In his speech, Financial and Corporate Social Responsibility Development Director, Seman Sendjaja said, the 180 billion investment in the second mill will be part of sustainable business strategy of CSRA and realize the company’s vision to be the superior agribusiness company in national scale.
“The second mill will multiply production capacity of the company which the first mill has been operating in District of Labuhan Batu, North Sumatera Province which was constructed in 2007,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT.
He also mentioned, palm oil has important roles to develop economy in national scale, but there is no participation from many stakeholders. “CSRA could not act alone to be the superior and sustainable palm oil plantation company in Indonesia,” he said. (T2)
