InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The 17th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2022 Price Outlook (IPOC 2021) is virtually conducted by Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) by proposing theme “Peran Industri Kelapa Sawit Menuju Pemulihan Ekonomi Berkelanjutan".
Committee Chairman of IPOC 2021, Mona Suraya said, in Covid-19 pandemic, IPOA still conducts the 17th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2022 Price Outlook (IPOC 2021). Though it is virtually running, she continued, the event is interesting for the planters and stakeholders.
Chairman of IPOA, Joko Supriyono said, Indonesia is still fighting with Covid - 19. Many children lost their parents, many lost bothers, and friends. That is why, everyone is trying to stop pandemic.
When pandemic impacts to economy, the government published policies to face it. Joko thought, palm oil industries have many challenges in pandemic but still contribute much to economy.
“In this event we take the theme about “Peran Industri Kelapa Sawit Menuju Pemulihan Ekonomi Berkelanjutan,” he said when delivering opening remarks at the 17th Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2022 Price Outlook (IPOC 2021), Wednesday (1/12/2021) that InfoSAWIT did join.
He also mentioned, palm oil industries are strong enough facing pandemic. Many conducted the vaccination for workers to get stronger immune to realize economic recovery faster.
The event was officially inaugurating by Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto and some ministers also joined it, such as, Minister of Finance Indonesian Republic, Sri Mulyani. (T2)
