InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in Indonesia, as set by PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN), recorded a significant increase on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
The KPBN CPO price was set at Rp 14,750 per kilogram (kg), marking a rise of Rp 175/kg, or approximately 1.20%, compared to Wednesday’s price of Rp 14,575/kg.
According to data from KPBN, CPO was fixed at Rp 14,750/kg for Franco Dumai, Rp 14,550/kg for FOB Talang Duku, and Rp 14,620/kg for Franco Teluk Bayur.
Meanwhile, palm oil futures trading on the Malaysian exchange strengthened, logging gains for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Positive market sentiment was driven by rising soybean oil prices and consistently solid export demand from key destinations, Reuters reported.
The benchmark CPO contract for December 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed up RM 62 per ton, a 1.41% increase, settling at RM 4,450 (US$1,058.26) per ton.
Cargo survey data estimated that Malaysian palm oil product exports for September rose by 7.3% to 9.6% compared to the previous month. Supporting the rally, soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade strengthened by 0.3%. The Dalian Commodity Exchange remained closed from October 1–8 for China’s national holiday.
