InfoSAWIT, ACEH SELATAN – The price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in South Aceh Regency continues to trend positively. Over the last two days, the FFB price at the mill level has risen by Rp60 per kilogram, now standing at Rp3,120/Kg.
Edi Bancin, FFB purchasing officer for PT Aceh Trumon Anugrah Kita (ATAK) in East Trumon, confirmed the upward trend. "If we buy today, the price is Rp3,120 per kilogram. It has gone up by Rp60 in the last two days," he said, as reported by InfoSAWIT on Tuesday (9/30/2025).
The mill-level price increase has also driven up prices at local collectors (RAM). Teuku Heru Zulfikar, owner of RAM CV Lamkuta Bersaudara Group in Trumon Sub-district, reported the current FFB price at his depot is Rp2,850 per kilogram. "This is certainly good news for palm oil farmers in South Aceh. We hope this price continues to rise," he commented.
On the international market, Crude Palm Oil (CPO) prices also showed strength. PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) set the CPO Franco Dumai price at Rp14,678 per kilogram, an increase of Rp78, or about 0.53%.
Despite the positive trend, Teuku Heru reminded farmers to maintain harvest quality. "Palm oil must be harvested at the right age; there should be no unripe fruit or foreign matter contamination. If the quality is good, the mills will not mind buying at a higher price," he concluded. (T2)
