InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) prices at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) showed minimal movement on Tuesday (15/7/2025), with the commodity priced at Rp14,250 per kilogram. This marks a slight increase of Rp5/kg or 0.04% compared to Monday’s (14/7/2025) price of Rp14,245/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the Franco Belawan price was set at Rp14,250/kg, while the Franco Dumai tender also opened at Rp14,250/kg but ended in a withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid reaching Rp14,200/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, Malaysian palm oil futures extended losses on Tuesday following profit-taking activities by traders, bringing an end to a two-session winning streak. The market is currently in a holding pattern, awaiting the release of export data that may provide clearer direction for future movements.
The benchmark CPO futures contract for September delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by 52 ringgit, or 1.23%, to 4,178 ringgit (approximately US$982.60) per metric ton by the midday break.
In related markets, Dalian’s most active soyoil contract remained flat, while its palm oil counterpart saw a modest gain of just 0.02%. On the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), soyoil prices fell by 0.43%.
