InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid price set at Rp15,088/kg on Thursday (March 20, 2025). Consequently, the CPO price decreased by 0.20%, reflecting a drop of approximately Rp30/kg compared to the CPO price on Wednesday (March 19, 2025), which was established at Rp15,118/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan opened at Rp15,167/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid price at Rp14,955/kg. Meanwhile, the CPO price for Franco Dumai also opened at Rp15,167/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid price at Rp15,088/kg.

In contrast, as reported by Reuters, the palm oil contract prices on the Malaysian Exchange continued to rise for the second consecutive session on Thursday (March 20, 2025), supported by the strengthening of palm oil prices on the Dalian Exchange.

The FCPOc3 palm oil contract for June 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange increased by RM49 per ton, or approximately 1.12%, reaching RM4,438 (US$1,002.94) per metric ton at midday. Meanwhile, the most actively traded soybean oil contract in Dalian, DBYcv1, fell by 0.35%, while the palm oil contract, DCPcv1, rose by 0.73%. The soybean oil price on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) BOcv1 saw a slight increase of 0.05%.
