InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – PT Ciliandra Perkasa, a company owned by tycoon Ciliandra Fangiono, is set to acquire four companies that have been controlling shares of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT). The four companies are PT Austindo Kencana Jaya (AKJ), PT Memimpin Dengan Nurani (MDN), Sjakon George Tahija (SGT), and George Santosa Tahija (GST).
The Director and Corporate Secretary of ANJT, Naga Waskita, revealed that Ciliandra Perkasa plans to take over approximately 91.17 percent of the shares that are fully paid and placed in the companies owned by the four ANJT controllers.
“The sellers (the four controlling companies of ANJT) and the buyer (Ciliandra Perkasa) have signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement on March 18, 2025,” said Naga in a statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Tuesday (March 18).
This corporate action aims to expand palm oil plantations and increase the availability of raw materials to support the increasingly developing downstream operations. This step aligns with Ciliandra Perkasa's expansion strategy in the palm oil industry.
Despite the changes in ownership structure, ANJT management assures that this transaction will not significantly impact operational activities, legal aspects, financial conditions, or the company's business continuity.
This acquisition marks a strategic move by Ciliandra Fangiono to strengthen his position in the national palm oil industry, which is rapidly growing alongside the increasing global demand for palm oil and its derivatives. (T2)
