InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 15,100/kg on Monday (March 17, 2025), marking a decrease of 0.28% or a drop of around IDR 50/kg compared to the CPO price on Friday (March 14, 2025), which had the highest offer price of IDR 15,150/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan, Kuala Tanjung, and Dumai was set at IDR 15,100/kg. Meanwhile, the CPO price for Loco Pelaihari opened at IDR 14,546 but experienced a withdrawal (WD), with the highest offer price at IDR 13,900/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the futures price of palm oil on the Malaysian Exchange closed lower on Monday (March 17, 2025), following the movement of other vegetable oils in the Dalian market, while poor export data weighed on and limited gains.

The benchmark palm oil futures price FCPOc3 for June 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange fell by RM 103 per ton, or about 2.3%, to RM 4,371 ($983.79) per metric ton at the close.

Referring to reports from independent inspection company AmSpec Agri, Malaysia's palm oil exports fell by 10.1% to 396,865 tons during the period of March 1-15, while Intertek Testing Services recorded a 7.5% decline to 420,677 metric tons.

Meanwhile, the most active Dalian soybean oil contract DBYcv1 rose by 0.5%, while the palm oil contract DCPcv1 fell by 1.1%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1 increased by 0.34%.
