InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom experienced a withdrawal, with the highest offer recorded at Rp14,905/kg on Monday (March 3, 2025). This marks a decline of 1.34%, or approximately Rp152/kg, compared to the highest offer of Rp15,057/kg on Friday (February 28, 2025).

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Dumai opened at Rp15,000 but was subject to withdrawal (WD), with the highest offer at Rp14,905/kg. Meanwhile, the CPO price for Loco Sei Tapung opened at Rp14,761/kg but also faced withdrawal, with the highest offer at Rp14,614/kg.

As reported by Reuters, palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange fell on Monday (March 3, 2025), following a decline in other vegetable oil prices. Additionally, weaker palm oil exports from Malaysia in February have further pressured the market.

The benchmark contract price for palm oil FCPOc3 for May 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped RM 67 per ton, or approximately 1.47%, to RM 4,487 (US$ 1,005.60) per metric ton during the midday break.

In contrast, the most active soybean oil contract on Dalian DBYcv1 saw a slight increase of 0.03%, while the palm oil contract DCPcv1 decreased by 0.4%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) BOcv1 fell by 0.14% at the start of the session from Friday's closing level but later reversed direction, trading up by 0.32%.
