InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 15,320/kg on Wednesday (February 26, 2025), marking a slight decrease of 0.23% or a drop of approximately Rp 35/kg compared to the highest offer price of Rp 15,355/kg on Tuesday (February 25, 2025).
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai was established at Rp 15,320/kg. The Loco Pelaihari CPO price opened at Rp 14,766/kg but experienced a withdrawal (WD), with the highest offer price reaching Rp 9,750/kg.
As reported by Reuters, palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange rose for the second consecutive session on Wednesday (February 26, 2025), driven by cheaper purchases despite bearish sentiment from industry analysts. The benchmark palm oil contract for May 2025 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased by RM 42 per ton, or approximately 0.92%, closing at RM 4,607 (US$ 1,040.89) per metric ton.
In contrast, the most active soybean oil contract on the Dalian Exchange fell by 0.75%, while palm oil prices rose by 0.22%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) decreased by 0.02%.
