InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was withdrawn with the highest CPO offer price at Rp. 15,355/kg on Tuesday (February 25, 2025), thus the CPO price increased by 0.52% or approximately Rp 80/kg compared to the CPO price on Monday (February 24, 2025), which reached Rp. 15,275/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai opened at Rp. 15,400/Kg, but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest offer price at Rp. 15,355/Kg. The CPO price for Loco Pelaihari opened at Rp. 14,846/kg but was also withdrawn, with the highest offer price at Rp. 9,750/Kg.
As reported by Reuters, palm oil futures prices on the Malaysian Exchange rose on Tuesday (February 25, 2025), supported by rising prices of other oils on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges, while market players awaited further guidance from an industry conference in Kuala Lumpur.
The FCPOc3 palm oil futures price for May 2025 on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rose RM 52 per ton, or approximately 1.14%, to RM 4,611 (US$ 1,045.58) per metric ton at midday.
Meanwhile, the most active soybean oil contract on Dalian DBYcv1 rose by 0.48%, while the palm oil contract DCPcv1 increased by 0.35%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade BOc2 rose by 1.14%.
