InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp. 15,275/kg on Monday (February 24, 2025), marking a decrease of 0.97% or approximately Rp. 150/kg compared to the CPO price on Friday (February 21, 2025), which was Rp. 15,425/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai was set at Rp. 15,275/kg, while the CPO price for Ngabang was set at Rp. 15,925/kg.
As reported by Reuters, the futures contract price for palm oil on the Malaysian Exchange fell by more than 1% on Monday (February 24, 2025), weighed down by declining vegetable oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges, alongside weak demand from major buyer India, which further pressured the market.
The benchmark palm oil futures contract FCPOc3 for May 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange dropped RM 73 per ton, or approximately 1.57%, to RM 4,591 (US$ 1,044.36) per metric ton at midday.
Meanwhile, the most active soybean oil price on Dalian DBYcv1 decreased by 0.38%, while the palm oil contract price DCPcv1 fell by 2%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade BOc2 also declined by 0.7%.
