InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 14,500/kg on Friday (February 7, 2025), marking an increase of 1.65% or approximately Rp 235/kg compared to the CPO price on Thursday (February 6, 2025), which was Rp 14,265/kg.

According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai is set at Rp 14,500/Kg. The price of CPO in Talang Duku is set at Rp 14,300/Kg.

The recorded price of KPBN palm oil has seen a weekly increase for the period of February 3-7, 2025, reaching 2.79% to Rp 14,204.60/kg, an increase of Rp 385.10/kg compared to the CPO price for the period of January 27-31, 2025, which was Rp 13,819.50/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange rose on Friday (February 7, 2025), heading for a third consecutive weekly increase, supported by a weakening ringgit, anticipated Ramadan demand, and declining production.

The price of palm oil futures contracts FCPOc3 for April 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange rose RM 92 per ton, or approximately 2.09%, to RM 4,495 (US$ 1,012.84) per metric ton at midday, marking a third consecutive daily increase. The recorded price of this contract rose 2.66% this week.

Additionally, the most active soybean oil contract in Dalian DBYcv1 rose 2.32%, while the palm oil contract DCPcv1 increased by 2.04%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1 rose by 0.22%.
