InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri has drawn attention after her wealth report revealed a staggering figure. In the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Widiyanti's wealth is recorded at Rp 5.43 trillion, making her the richest minister in President Prabowo Subianto's cabinet.

As reported by Detikcom, her wealth is divided among various assets, including land, buildings, personal vehicles, as well as cash and securities. However, the largest portion of her wealth comes from securities valued at Rp 5.07 trillion.

Before serving as Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri was known as a successful entrepreneur with an impressive track record in agribusiness and energy. She previously served as Commissioner of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk. since 2021, a agribusiness company managing 60,497 hectares of palm oil plantations in East Kalimantan.

According to InfoSAWIT's investigation, Teladan Prima Agro (TPA) is a key player in the sustainable palm oil plantation and processing sector. The company operates six palm oil mills (PKS) with a total capacity of 335 tons of fresh fruit bunches per hour. Additionally, TPA develops renewable energy through its subsidiary, PT Daya Lestari.

Widiyanti's business background is influenced by her family. Her father, Wiwoho Basuki Tjokronegoro, is the founder of Teladan Group, which has a significant portfolio in the energy and coal sectors. Meanwhile, her husband, Wishnu Wardhana, previously served as the President Director of PT Indika Energy Tbk.

Widiyanti's formal education at Pepperdine University in the United States laid the foundation for her career. She began her professional journey in the banking sector before transitioning to agribusiness.

In addition to her active role in business, Widiyanti is also known for her philanthropic activities. She serves as the Chair of the Teladan Utama Foundation, Supervisor of the Kawula Madani Foundation, and Secretary General of the Indonesian Heart Foundation. (T2)
