InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest offer at Rp. 13,881/kg on Wednesday (January 15, 2025), marking a 2.16% decrease or a drop of approximately Rp 307/kg compared to the CPO price on Tuesday (January 14, 2025), which reached Rp. 14,188/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO price for Franco Belawan & Dumai opened at Rp. 14,000/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest offer at Rp. 13,881/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the futures price of palm oil on the Malaysian Exchange continued to decline on Wednesday (January 15, 2025), following the weakening of soybean oil prices in Chicago and sluggish new demand.
The benchmark palm oil price FCPOc3 for March 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange fell by RM 49 per ton or about 1.1%, to RM 4,388 (US$ 974.25) per metric ton at midday.
