InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp. 14,157/kg on Tuesday (January 7, 2025), marking an increase of 0.49% or an increase of approximately Rp 69/kg compared to the highest offer price of CPO on Monday (January 6, 2025), which reached Rp. 14,088/kg.
According to information obtained by InfoSAWIT from KPBN, the CPO prices for Franco Belawan & Dumai are set at Rp. 14,157/Kg, while the price for CPO in Teluk Bayur is Rp. 14,027/Kg, and in Talang Duku, it is Rp. 13,957/Kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, the futures price of palm oil on the Malaysian Exchange remained slightly changed after trading within a tight range on Tuesday (January 7, 2025), due to lower soybean prices and weak export demand putting pressure on the market.
The benchmark palm oil futures contract FCPOc3 for March 2025 delivery on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange fell RM 2 per ton or about 0.05%, to RM 4,336 (US$ 962.49) per metric ton at midday. The palm oil contract price fell 0.69% in the previous session.
The most active soybean contract in Dalian DBYcv1 fell 0.69%, and the palm oil contract DCPcv1 fell 0.44%. Soybean prices on the Chicago Board of Trade BOcv1 fell 0.62%.
