InfoSAWIT, KOTA SORONG – PT Putera Manunggal Perkasa (PMP) and PT Permata Putera Mandiri (PPM), subsidiaries of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ), have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BPJS Kesehatan. This collaboration allows the community and employees registered as BPJS Kesehatan participants to access health services at PMP and PPM Clinics.
The MoU signing took place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in the meeting room of the BPJS Kesehatan Sorong office. The event was attended by the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Sorong, Pupung Purnama, and the General Manager of PMP and PPM, Jekson Simaremare. The agreement aims to provide primary health services, including outpatient and inpatient care, in accordance with the National Health Insurance (JKN) program regulations.
Jekson Simaremare emphasized that this agreement reflects the ANJ Group's commitment to supporting health services for employees and the surrounding community in the company's operational areas. "With complete facilities and available inpatient services at PMP and PPM Clinics, the community no longer needs to travel far for treatment. This will greatly assist them in accessing health services more easily and quickly," Jekson stated in a statement received by InfoSAWIT on Tuesday (December 17, 2024).
He also added that registering local communities at PMP and PPM Clinics as JKN participants will provide significant benefits, particularly in terms of time efficiency and travel distance for obtaining care.
On the other hand, the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Sorong, Pupung Purnama, appreciated this collaboration as an important step in improving access to health services in the Sorong Selatan and Maybrat regions. "This collaboration is one of our efforts to bring services closer to JKN participants, both company employees and the surrounding community. We also hope to enroll more people who are not yet registered as JKN participants to ensure they are covered by this program," Pupung explained.
This MoU is expected to strengthen the synergy between BPJS Kesehatan and the private sector in providing broader health services, particularly for communities surrounding the company. With outpatient and inpatient services available at PMP and PPM Clinics, access to quality healthcare is now closer and more easily reachable.
This collaboration also underscores the active role of the ANJ Group in supporting government programs through the enhancement of inclusive and sustainable health services in West Papua. (T2)
