InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of independent fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for oil palm in Riau Province has reached a new peak for 9-year-old trees. According to the Riau Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch Pricing Team, based on Decree No. 45 for the pricing period of December 4-10, 2024, the price increased by Rp 128.74/kg, settling at Rp 3,784.96/kg.
Here is the detailed FFB price breakdown by tree age as reported by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Provincial Plantation Office:
- 3-year-old trees: Rp 2,920.20/kg
- 4-year-old trees: Rp 3,263.74/kg
- 5-year-old trees: Rp 3,509.64/kg
- 6-year-old trees: Rp 3,647.05/kg
- 7-year-old trees: Rp 3,728.54/kg
- 8-year-old trees: Rp 3,774.47/kg
- 9-year-old trees: Rp 3,784.96/kg
- 10–20-year-old trees: Rp 3,742.24/kg
- 21-year-old trees: Rp 3,676.02/kg
- 22-year-old trees: Rp 3,600.64/kg
- 23-year-old trees: Rp 3,514.96/kg
- 24-year-old trees: Rp 3,450.26/kg
- 25-year-old trees: Rp 3,396.93/kg
The price of crude palm oil (CPO) is recorded at Rp 15,826.70/kg, while palm kernel (PK) is priced at Rp 11,769.98/kg. The value of palm shell is noted at Rp 26.88/kg, with an extraction rate (K index) of 92.92%.
