InfoSAWIT, JAMBI – According to the price determination team of the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) of Palm Oil in Jambi Province, the price of FFB for palms aged 10-20 years has increased by IDR 93.66/Kg, reaching IDR 3,645.13/Kg for the period of December 6-12, 2024.
The latest prices, sourced from the Provincial Plantation Office and reported by InfoSAWIT, show variations depending on the age of the palm trees:
- 3 years: IDR 2,851.31/Kg
- 4 years: IDR 3,039.28/Kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,179.52/Kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,312.67/Kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,396.32/Kg
- 8 years: IDR 3,468.08/Kg
- 9 years: IDR 3,536.66/Kg
- 10-20 years: IDR 3,645.13/Kg
- 21-24 years: IDR 3,535.03/Kg
- 25 years: IDR 3,372.06/Kg
Additionally, the price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) has been set at IDR 15,115.27/Kg, and Palm Kernel at IDR 10,958.71/Kg, with a K index of 93.42%.
It is important to note that these prices are officially set by the Provincial Plantation Office and may differ from market rates in the field.
This price adjustment highlights a positive trend for palm oil farmers in Jambi, especially for those whose plantations fall within the 10-20 years age range, known for their peak productivity. (T2)
