InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for independent palm oil farmers in Riau has increased for the week of December 4-10, 2024. Based on the Riau Province Fresh Fruit Bunch Price Determination Letter No. 45 for the period, the price for nine-year-old FFB rose by Rp 16.01/kg, reaching Rp 3,656.22/kg.
The pricing, as determined by the Riau Province Plantation Service, reflects adjustments across various age categories:
- 3 years: Rp 2,819.88/kg
- 4 years: Rp 3,152.29/kg
- 5 years: Rp 3,390.52/kg
- 6 years: Rp 3,523.48/kg
- 7 years: Rp 3,602.12/kg
- 8 years: Rp 3,646.57/kg
- 9 years: Rp 3,656.22/kg
- 10-20 years: Rp 3,614.58/kg
- 21 years: Rp 3,550.27/kg
- 22 years: Rp 3,477.16/kg
- 23 years: Rp 3,394.06/kg
- 24 years: Rp 3,331.32/kg
- 25 years: Rp 3,279.60/kg
This price adjustment correlates with the current market conditions for crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel. The reported CPO price stands at Rp 15,345.21/kg, while palm kernel is priced at Rp 11,121.00/kg, with a shell value of Rp 26.88/kg and a K index of 92.92%.
