InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in East Kalimantan has risen for the second period of November 2024. According to the Provincial Plantation Agency, the price for palm oil from plantations with trees aged over 10 years increased by IDR 117.24 per kilogram, reaching IDR 3,175.50/kg for the period of November 16–30, 2024.
The pricing team will propose the FFB price for the first period of December 2024 (December 1–15) to the Governor of East Kalimantan after calculations are completed on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Samarinda.
Here are the detailed FFB prices for East Kalimantan as outlined in the letter from the Plantation Agency:
- 3-year-old trees: IDR 2,798.09/kg
- 4-year-old trees: IDR 2,986.26/kg
- 5-year-old trees: IDR 3,002.32/kg
- 6-year-old trees: IDR 3,034.17/kg
- 7-year-old trees: IDR 3,052.18/kg
- 8-year-old trees: IDR 3,075.33/kg
- 9-year-old trees: IDR 3,138.51/kg
- Trees over 10 years: IDR 3,175.50/kg
For this period, crude palm oil (CPO) was priced at IDR 14,275.58/kg, while palm kernel was set at IDR 9,224.09/kg, with a K index of 88.65%. (T2)
