InfoSAWIT, PEKANBARU – The pricing team for Independent Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in Riau Province has released its latest rates for the period of November 27 to December 3, 2024, based on the FFB Pricing Decree No. 44. For nine-year-old oil palm trees, the price decreased by Rp 44.46/kg, setting it at Rp 3,640.21/kg.
The following are the FFB prices for independent smallholders in Riau, as obtained by InfoSAWIT from the Riau Plantation Service:
- 3-year-old palms: Rp 2,808.42/kg
- 4-year-old palms: Rp 3,138.90/kg
- 5-year-old palms: Rp 3,375.55/kg
- 6-year-old palms: Rp 3,507.74/kg
- 7-year-old palms: Rp 3,586.07/kg
- 8-year-old palms: Rp 3,630.26/kg
- 9-year-old palms: Rp 3,640.21/kg
- 10–20-year-old palms: Rp 3,599.02/kg
- 21-year-old palms: Rp 3,535.26/kg
- 22-year-old palms: Rp 3,462.69/kg
- 23-year-old palms: Rp 3,380.22/kg
- 24-year-old palms: Rp 3,317.93/kg
- 25-year-old palms: Rp 3,266.60/kg
In this pricing period, the crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp 15,234.00/kg, while the palm kernel price stood at Rp 11,248.16/kg, with the shell price recorded at Rp 26.88/kg. The K index for this period was 92.92%.
The slight price drop reflects market trends, but independent smallholders in Riau continue to monitor changes closely, adapting to price fluctuations to optimize their production and profitability. (T2)
