InfoSAWIT, SAMARINDA – Based on the results from the East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Fresh Palm Fruit Bunch (TBS) Price Determination Team, the price of TBS for the first half of November 2024 (November 1-15) has risen by Rp 106.8 per kilogram, bringing the price for palm oil from trees over 10 years old to Rp 3,058.26 per kg.
The price determination for TBS produced by farmers for the second half of November (November 16-30) will be proposed to the Governor of East Kalimantan after the team's calculations, scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2024, in Samarinda.
According to data from the East Kalimantan Plantation Service shared with InfoSAWIT, the following prices were set for various age categories of palm oil:
- 3-year-old palm: Rp 2,694.74 per kg
- 4-year-old palm: Rp 2,875.89 per kg
- 5-year-old palm: Rp 2,891.42 per kg
- 6-year-old palm: Rp 2,922.10 per kg
- 7-year-old palm: Rp 2,939.46 per kg
- 8-year-old palm: Rp 2,961.74 per kg
- 9-year-old palm: Rp 3,022.64 per kg
- Palm oil over 10 years old: Rp 3,058.26 per kg
Additionally, the price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is set at Rp 13,737.82 per kg, while Palm Kernel is priced at Rp 8,929.81 per kg, with a K index of 88.65%. (T2)
