InfoSAWIT, PALEMBANG – The price of Fresh Palm Fruit Bunches (TBS) in South Sumatra (Sumsel) has increased by IDR 87.99 per kilogram for the 10-20 year old palm category, as confirmed by the Provincial Palm Oil Pricing Team. The new rates were set for the period of November 1-15, 2024, with prices officially announced on Friday, November 8, 2024. The new price for palm oil from trees aged 10 to 20 years is now IDR 3,356.86 per kilogram.
Here are the updated prices for palm oil based on tree age, as per the Provincial Plantation Office of South Sumatra:
- 3 years old: IDR 2,842.03/Kg
- 4 years old: IDR 2,930.06/Kg
- 5 years old: IDR 3,068.23/Kg
- 6 years old: IDR 3,110.66/Kg
- 7 years old: IDR 3,113.02/Kg
- 8 years old: IDR 3,205.38/Kg
- 9 years old: IDR 3,258.38/Kg
- 10-20 years old: IDR 3,356.86/Kg
- 21 years old: IDR 3,343.62/Kg
- 22 years old: IDR 3,344.01/Kg
- 23 years old: IDR 3,319.77/Kg
- 24 years old: IDR 3,220.76/Kg
- 25 years old: IDR 3,227.53/Kg
The price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is set at IDR 13,920.03 per kilogram, while the price for Palm Kernel is IDR 9,420.89 per kilogram, with a K index of 93.23%.
