Nomi concerned that there could be palm oil plantation permits that were not the same with the business rights border as regulated.
She warned it would be significant for the regional government to closely supervise palm oil plantation permits namely to prevent the big private companies that would try to break the permits by planting out of their business rights. “I always said that it would be significant to get supervision. The technical agencies should understand and implement the standard operating procedure well in the permit issue,” she said.
The Attorney of Gumas successfully revealed the corruption case in palm oil business rights and permits. The case significantly delivered impacts to save the loss of the country up to more than Rp 5 billion. The law enforcement should be not only protecting the assets of the country but also creating the responsible and sustainable business climate in plantation sectors in the region.
With the full supports from the Legislators, the regional government should reinforce the cooperation with the attorney to confirm that every party should do their business as the regulation, maintain the area governance, avoid every act that might deliver losses for the country and the people. (T2)
