InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Ministry of National Development Plan/National Development Plan Agency and European Union officially launched "The European Union-Indonesia Cooperation Publication 2024-2025" in Jakarta, Tuesday (17/9/2024). It would be the guidelines for the developers and stakeholders to conducted strategic partnership between Indonesia and European Union and the innovative programs that would show both parties’ commitments.

The Ambassador of European Union in Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Denis Chaibi thought the cooperation between Indonesia and European Union would base on some values, such as, the legal, regional cohesivity, and multilateralism. “In the global scale – challenges that got more complex, European Union would always be committed to be as the strategic partner that would be reliable for Indonesia,” he said, as in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (17/9/2024).

Minister of National Development Plan/Head of National Development Plan Agency, Suharso Monoarfa did welcome the launching of the cooperation publication as the extension of partnership that ran for some time. “The cooperation would be very significant to realize national scale development priority and sustainable development goals (SDGs) of Indonesia,” he said by emphasizing the this would develop the better future of Indonesia to be welfare and sustainable.

The publication would cover some bilateral aspects, such as, trade, investment, higher education, governance, human rights, environment, and climate change. Besides, the publication would describe European Union gateway strategic globally that was formulated to solve the global scale challenges, such as, climate change, and increase the health system, and supply chain security.

By the launching, it is hoped he cooperation between both parties would always be developing, delivering bigger advantages namely for the international scale – population. (T2)
