Taswadi, Chairman in Economy and People’s Empowerment Regional Board of LDII Melawi did deliver significant materlas about selecting superior seeds. “Selecting the wrong/uncertified seeds would make the plant grow well but produce not good fresh fruit bunch,” he said. That is why, Taswadi continued, to get the optimal harvest, the smallholders should notice the main factors, such as, water, shining, numbers of midribs, and fertilization.
He who is also the independent counselor of Melawi Plantation Agency, suggested the smallholders should minimize chemical fertilizers but apply organic ones. “The organic fertilizer application would be more environmental. With the right management, the harvest would be a promise,” Taswadi said.
The activity should deliver better and deeper understanding for the smallholders about the good agricultural cultivation technic and they would increase their plantation productivity to get better harvest. (T2)
