
InfoSAWIT, PALANGKARAYA – Head of Public Relation Central Kalimantan Police Department, Kombes Pol Erlan Munaji emphasized that the police in the province to regency level seriously investigated fresh fruit bunch (FFB) stealing both from big private companies and the people’s palm oil plantations.
This, Erlan continued, would cover the suggestion and firm action for everyone that stole FFB, as he wrote in a short message.
In 2024, Central Kalimantan Police Department has dealt with 175 cases that involved 350 suspects. Of the numbers, many were proven to use narcotics, from Regency of Seruyan and Kotawaringin Barat.
He also said that the Chief of Police Department Central Kalimantan, Irjen Pol Djoko Poerwanto initiated to optimize the taskforce to handle every social conflict based on the Laws Number 7 / 2012. It involved the governments in the province and regency/city to get more optimal results to identify and solve every social issue in the society.
“We do hope by the taskforce the society and the companies would understand their rights and obligation well and would minimize FFB stealing case in this province,” Erlan said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from Antara, Saturday (7/9/2024).
He also suggested every people to maintain the security in their society, crate conducive investment climate heading to regional election in 2024.
