Sri Mulyani Inaugurated Two New Directors of PO PFMA to Reinforce Palm Oil Fund Management

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati officially inaugurated two new directors in Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PO PFMA), Monday, 2 September 2024. It was part of rotation, promotion, and fulfilling the empty position in the Ministry of Finance.

Normansyah Hidayat Syahruddin was inaugurated as Director of Fund Raising PO PFMA and Mohammad Alfansyah was inaugurated as Fund Distributor PO PFMA. The two officials would reinforce the job description in the agency to manage palm oil plantation fund that played important roles for the economy in Indonesia.

In her speech, Sri Mulyani emphasized that the rotation and promotion would be the needs of the organization. She also reminded the new officials should play their roles not only as administrative ones, but also should be the leaders, role models for the juniors.

“Everyone has the same job description, which is, has to be the leader in the unit where you work at. You are not only officials but also be the leaders as the role model that your junior would see,” she said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of Ministry of Finance.

The inauguration was part of the ministry to maintain the finance in this country, confirm that the revenue would be the effective instrument to protect the economy and the people when the economic dynamic would keep changing.

Besides the two new directors in PO PFMA, 440 other officials were inaugurated in the same day. They consisted of 49 officials in II echelons, and 391 officials in III, IV echelons, functional, and non-echelon units in the ministry.

Sri Mulyani also said, the new officials should adapt fast because there would be challenges to manage fiscal in the social media. Every official in the Ministry of Finance would be the attention of the public.

“The social media would be one tool for the people to deliver their opinions, we have to know it 24/7 and months, and years. We would be watched,” she said.

She also reminded most of the officials in the ministry derived from young generations and the new ones should be the leaders that would develop, deliver good examples in the dynamic work. (T2)
