InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA - Indonesian Planters Society (IPS) successfully did national meeting on 8 - 11 August 2024 in Jakarta. Jamalul was re-elected as IPS Chairman in 2024 - 2027.

The meeting was attended by central and regional boards of IPS that discussed the future of the organization to face the more complex challenges.

Jamalul emphasized that it would be significant to re-structure the organization to face every dynamic. “Knowing the more complex challenges in the future, I would formulate the persons in the planters’ leaders to be more complete,” he said to InfoSAWIT, Friday (16/8/2024).

He also explained that the new structures would cover the planters from many essential disciplines and plantation industries, such as, in agronomy, miller, accounting and finance.

Then there would be planters in audit, information technology, legal, and inter-institution relationship. after that there would be planters in human capital – base.

He believed by having complete structures in the organization, IPS would be capable to deliver every available challenge, developing as the better and more competitive organization. “We hope that the better and more complete structure, IPS would develop fast heading to the world – class plantation organization,” Jamalul said.

The meeting would be the new start for the organization to keep being as the leader in plantation industries, not only in Indonesia but also in the globe. (T2)
