InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo re-showed his commitment to sustainable environment and people’s welfare by handling over decision and other important certificate in the Festival Lingkungan, Iklim, Kehutanan, dan Energi Baru Terbarukan (LIKE) 2 at Jakarta Convention Center, Friday (9/8).

He handed over Decision of People’s Forest, Tanah Objek Reforma Agraria (TORA), Smallholders Palm Oil and Environment and Service Certificate for the people. This was the government’s efforts to reinforce the people’s rights to cultivate natural resources sustainably and inclusively.

As InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of Cabinet Secretariat, Friday (9/8/2024), President did visit and see the participants’ stands in the festival. It showed innovation and program about environment, climate, forestry and new renewable energy. This could become the synergy between the government and the people to maintain the environment good and encourage to use renewable energy.

Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto; Minister of Enviornment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya Bakar; Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati; Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial/National Land Agency Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono were with the president. This showed that the government would fully encourage sustainable development.

Festival LIKE 2 would be important moment to protect the environment and develop renewable energy, welfare the people by publishing pro – people policies. (T2)
