InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the implementation of biodiesel mandatory program as it is regulated in Chapter 18, paragraph (1a) President’s Regulation Number 66 / 2018 about the Second Substitution on the President’s Regulation Number 61 / 2015 about Crude palm oil Raising Fund and Utilization, hereby, we would like to inform that the conversion numbers of crude palm oil to be biodiesel would be 85 US dollar/metric ton (MT) and the numbers of market index price (MIP) of vegetable oil (biodiesel) in July 2024 would be Rp 12.161/liter, plus transportation costs that would be effective since on 1 July 2024.

Referring to the documents Number T-2379/EK.05/DJE.B/2024, on 29 June 2024, the numbers of transportation cost would refer to the maximal cost of vegetable oil cost, kind of biodiesel that was mixed to fuel as it is regulated in the decision of minister about biodiesel MIP that was mixed to fuel.

“Currency conversion would refer to the middle average currency at Indonesian Bank since on 25 May 2024 until 24 June 2024 that was Rp 16.254,” the document mentioned, as InfoSAWIT got from the official page of General Directorate of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conversion, Thursday (4/7/2024).

It means, what InfoSAWIT calculated, palm oil biodiesel MIP in July 2024 gets escalated about Rp 384/liter to June 2024 that was Rp 11.7 32/liter. (T2)
