InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Right before Idul Adha comes, Wilmar would distribute 1.012 sacrificial animals. The numbers consist of 505 cows and 507 goats around its operational in Indonesia.

The animals would be handed over for the people which is through the village officers, mosques, or non-government organizations, the orphanages, figures, and communities to involve more people.

Human Capital Head Wilmar, Erlina Panitri thought this has become annual activity of the company as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This is the same with the mission of the company, which is, to deliver positive contribution for the people namely around the operational of the company. “The company hoped to celebrate the essence of Idul Adha by sharing with the locals,” Erlina said, as in the official statement to a InfoSAWIT, Tuesday (11/6/2024).

The animals to distribute would cover Region West Sumatera, Region South Sumatera, Bengkulu, Region North Sumatera, Bangko, Batam, Region Riau, Pulo Gadung, Cikarang, Serang, Ngawi, Gresik, Mojokerto, Region Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Luwuk, Bitung, and Loa Duri.

Erlina continued, Idul Adha would be not only sacrificing animals but also about realizing the values of care, solidarity, and sharing with friends. The company also hoped, by having and implementing the program that directly touches what the people need of, it would reinforce the bond between the company and the people. “We are inspired to keep implementing (the programs) so that in every our operational, the people would get the advantages,” she said.
