InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – To implement biodiesel mandatory program regulated in the Chapter 18 paragraph (1a) President’s Regulation Number 66 / 2018 about the Second Substitution on President’s Regulation Number 61 / 2015 about Palm Oil Fund Allocation and Collection, we hereby informed that crude palm oil conversion to be biodiesel would be 85 US$/metric ton and market index price (MIP) of vegetable oil – biodiesel in June 2024 would be Rp 11.732/liter added by transportation costs that would be effective since on 1 June 2024.

Biodiesel MIP was got from CPO average price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran bersama Nusantara (KPBN) since on 25 April - 24 May 2024 that was about Rp 12.116/Kg.

The transportation cost was the same with the Decision of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resource Number 146.K/HK.02/DJE/2021 – the numbers of transportation cost would refer to the maximal costs for transporting vegetable fuel – biodiesel which is mixed to fuel as regulated in the decision of minister about vegetable fuel MIP – biodiesel which is mixed to fuel.

“The conversion of currency uses average currency reference of Indonesian Bank on 25 April 2024 to 24 May 2024 that was Rp 16.105,” the regulation noted as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of General Directorate of New Renewable Energy Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resource noted, Friday (31/5/2024).

It means, what InfoSAWIT calculated, biodiesel MIP in June 2024 gets cheaper Rp 721/liter to May 2024 that reached Rp 12.453/liter. (T2)
