InfoSAWIT, PALU – The Province of Central Sulawesi delivered announcement about the progressive things to recover palm oil plantations. 282,74 hectares of palm oil plantations where PT Agro Nusa Abadi (PT ANA) which is the subsidiary of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk., cultivated in Regency of Morowali Utara have been returned for the smallholders – the villagers of Bunta, after having reverification and revalidation process.
Expert of the governor, Ridha Saleh told that palm oil return process was through mediation that involved many parties for the past 1,5 years. The process covered 26 times to get mediation among the village, sub district, regency, management of PT ANA, technical agencies in province level.
"One village, Bungintimbe is still in detail reverification process. It would be in phase because the width of palm oil plantations to be released would be about more than 600 hectares of the total – 941 hectares (to be released), including other four villages around,” Ridha Saleh said in Palu, Thursday, as quoted from Antara.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Rusdy Mastura appreciated every party for getting involved to get the solution done, including PT ANA for being cooperative in the agrarian conflict solution. Central Sulawesi Province would keep delivering the best solution for every party involved in agrarian conflicts to deliver safe and conducive situation and accelerate agrarian conflict solution in the province.
Rusdy also emphasized that it is important to get further action from the company in association with the plantation shrinking. The collaboration among legal officers should help maintain the conducive situation for the smallholders’ welfare in the regions.
These would be the sign of the regional government’s commitment to get agrarian conflict solution and support the smallholders to get their rights on their land. (T2)
