InfoSAWIT, SHANGHAI - General Manager of Palm Oil Research and Technical Service Institute of Malaysian Palm Oil Board (Portsim), Yoong Jun Hao told that the research institution got accreditation from the Government of China, that is, China National Accreditation Services (CNAS) and the China Inspection Body and Laboratory Mandatory Approval (CMA).
For information, Portsim was established in 2005. It is the branch of Malaysian Palm Oil Bard in China. The goals are to develop, expand, make palm oil markets from Malaysia in China go forward, deliver technical supports and consultation services for the related companies.
“This is the acknowledgement for our laboratory that we qualified every term and condition both in standard and quality according to the regulations in China,” he said, as quoted from Bernama.
Yoong Jun Hao continued Portsim would exist to develop and serve industries by expanding their markets to get more additional value – segments in China by trading more downstream products made of Malaysia’s palm oil through research and development and commerce.
“By these, we would help our industry to get downstream segment and produce more additional value – products and would help to get our loyal customers in China and in the same time we would help our country to expand our palm oil markers,” he said. (T2)
