883 Palm Oil Plantation Companies and 52 Unions Got ISPO Certificates

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the coordination meeting about Rencana Aksi Nasional Kelapa Sawit Berkelanmillionn (RAN – KSB), Thursday (28/03/2024), Coordinator Minister in Economy, Airlangga Hartarto told Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate realization after president’s instruction was published about RAN KSB. It reached 883 companies and 52 unions/groups cumulatively got it.

“The meeting also discussed about palm oil plantations in forest regions to get solution. We prepared the scenario as mandated by Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja,” Airlangga told.

As in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, he also told about smallholders’ plantations, such as, smallholders replanting program (SRP) fund allocation which was from Rp 30 million/hectare to be Rp 60 million/hectare, getting less terms and conditions to propose SRP from 6 to be 3 terms and conditions, getting easy verification process, and SRP proposals.

The meeting was also attended by head of Badan Informasi Geospasial, general director of Regional Development Ministry of Internal Affairs, general director of Land Conflict and Dispute Settlement Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial/National Land Agency, general director of Plantation Ministry of Agriculture, general secretary of Ministry of Environment and Forestry, deputy in Food and Agribusiness Coordination Coordinator Ministry in Economy, deputy in Business Development Coordination of Enterprises, Research and Innovation Coordinator Ministry in Economy, the spoke-man of Coordinator Ministry in Economy, director of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency, representatives of some ministries/institutions and from regional governments. (T2)
