InfoSAWIT, BENGKALIS – A 15 hectare – palm oil plantations that belonged to Koperasi Sawit Permadani was in flame. It was in Dusun Bukit Air Raja and Dusun Bhakti, Village of Tanjung Leban, Sub district of Bandar Laksamana, Regency of Bengkalis, Riau Province
Chief of Bengkalis Police, AKBP Setyo Bimo told that the plantations belonged to the local people.
“The fire was burnout and it is in cooling process,” he said, Wednesday (27/3/2024).
He though, the fire was happening for last week or since 20 March 2024. To extinguish the fire, 39 personals from Army, Police and Fire Department should get into the spot.
Besides the fire in the plantations, it happened on Jalan Parit Lakim, Dusun Sejati, Village of Sepajat, Sub district of Bandar Laksamana, Regency of Bengkalis.
"In Dusun Sejati, the fire took place for 3 days and 52 personals should extinguish it,” AKBP Setyo Bimo said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from Sindonews, Thursday (28/3/2024).
Not only that the fire did happen in Village of Temiang, Sub district of Bandar Laksamana, Bengkalis. There were 49 personals to extinguish it.
"The fire happened for the rests of fire that happened two days prior and spread to the next canals. We are still calculating the burnt plantations,” he said. (T2)
