InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – In the breaking the fast with Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) in the central office of PAN, South Jakarta, Thursday (21/3/2024), Prabowo Subianto, the next President of Indonesia 2024 – 2029 told his opinion about interesting energy potential in Indonesia. He thought, the energy expers in international scale are optimist that Indonesia would realize the whole energy self-sufficiency sooner.

As InfoSAWIT quoted from Kompas, Prabowo believed and told that Indonesia has the big potential to create fuel which is efficient and environmental. In his perspectives, diesel could be fully produced from palm oil while gasoline could be fully produced from ethanol from many sources, such as, sugarcane, cassava and  sugarpalm. He emphasized that the technology is available to realize or implement those.

“100 percent, our diesel can be from palm oil, our gasoline can 100 percent be from ethanol which is from sugarcane, cassava, and sugarpalm. The technology is right before our eyes,” Prabowo said, Saturday (23/3/2024).

He also thanked Europe for boycotting palm oil from Indonesia. He thought, this would be the new chance for Indonesia to take advantages on palm oil to produce dieel as the alternative energy which is also clean for the people of Indonesia. (T2)
