Malaysia Launched MSPO

InfoSAWIT, KUALA LUMPUR – The Government of Malaysia keeps doing significant things to support palm oil industries. The latest was that the launching of Saji – one kind of palm cooking oil within Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) logo. It was launched by Minister of Commodity and Plantation, Malaysia, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani in Aeon Big Wangsa Maju.

This showed not only the commitment of the government to support sustainable palm oil industrial standards but also to promote MSPO.

The signing of memorandum of understanding between FGV and MSPO was taken as the significant initiative to reinforce MSPO promotion and also escalate the reputation of FGV product brand as Malaysia’s palm oil exporter.

As InfoSAWIT quoted from News Straits Times, the Government of Malaysia did hope that the launching would reinforce the commitment of the country as sustainable palm oil producer in the globe. Besides, this should expand MSPO brand both in the country and other countries to escalate the competition in the world.

By having continuous efforts to promote sustainable palm oil industries, Malaysia proved the country is serous to maintain the environment good, encourage sustainable practices, and produce high quality – products for the world but also deliver the positive for the environment and people in wider perspectives.
