InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was Rp 12.631/kg on Wednesday (6/3/2024), It means it increased Rp 86/kg or about 0,69% to Tuesday (5/3/2024) tender that was Rp 12.545/kg.
What InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 12.631/Kg. In East Kalimantan it was Rp 12.231/kg but in withdraw (WD) with the highest bid Rp 12.100/Kg. CPO in West Kalimantan was Rp 12.281/kg but in WD with the highest bid Rp 11.700/Kg.
Crude palm oil kernel (CPKO) in Lampung was Rp 13.419/kg but in WD with the highest bid Rp 7.300/Kg. In Dumai it was Rp 13.640/kg but in WD with the highest bid Rp 13.305/Kg.
CPO price at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also increased for the second session in a row, the highest level for more than seven months on Wednesday (6/3/2024). It happened for the limited supply and optimism to palm oil demands, while other vegetable oils got more expensive.
As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 95 per ton or about 2,38% to be RM 4.081 (US$ 862,79) per metric ton in the closing session.
