InfoSAWIT, PADANG BOLAK - Aiptu Pasomal Siregar, an officer in Padang Bolak Police successfully arrested narcotic kind of methamphetamine dealer in the village where he works at on Saturday (9/2/2024) late at night.

In the beginning, Aiptu Pasomal Siregar did not want to arrest the dealer. He was just trying to help the Village Head of Batang Pane II, Regency of Padang Lawas Utara to arrest fresh fruit bunch (FFB) thief.

“The head of the village contacted us because some villagers reported that two male suspects wanted to steal FFB,” Police Chief of Padang Bolak, AKP Harun Manurung, SH said, Sunday (11/2/2024) morning.

After getting the information, Aiptu Pasomal Siregar coordinated with the head of village to take the two suspects to the office of Village of Batang Pane II. But after being questioned, they found methamphetamine for about 0,15 gram.

"It was found in the seat of one black motor bike of the suspects without police number,” Manurung said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of Indonesian Police Public Relation, Monday (12/2/2024).

Besides methamphetamine, the police successfully sealed some other evidences, including the empty plastic clip, spoon that is made of straw, pear glass, and cash about Rp 135 thousand, and one handphone (black Oppo).

One suspect, RR told that the methamphetamine was got from a male ‘W’ who lives near their house. RR told they did the transaction around the people’s palm oil plantations.

The operational team of Padang Bolak Police led by Unit Head of Reskrim, Iptu Aswin Manurung, SH did development to get ‘W’ but he was not found after searching him at his house.

The other suspect, ‘S’ said that he is the friend of W and is responsible to take the methamphetamine when dealing with RR.

“The two suspects and evidences have been in the narcotic department South Tapanuli Police to get more investigation,” Head of Padang Bolak Police, Harun Manurung said. (T2)
