InfoSAWIT, KAMPAR – Many ways in villages in almost 21 sub districts in District of Kampar get broken. This is terrible. Village of Koto Garo and Danau Lancang would be the real sample. The ways are severely broken and around palm oil plantations both belong to the company and private.
The intensive rain made the ways worse in Village of Koto Garo, Sub district of Tapung Hilir, and Village of Danau Lancang, Sub district of Tapung Hulu. The broken ways would be a serious threat for every driver and rider.
One striking sample is Jalan Kelompok Tani to Jalan Kerikilan in Village of Koto Garo. The villagers should pass through muddy ways, face risks for months.
The same thing happens in Kampung Baru, Village of Danau Lancang. Though there are palm oil and gas companies operating around, the villagers should struggle with mud to evacuate if their vehicles got stuck.
“Many ways in Village of Kampar get broken though in the right and left side of the ways are palm oil plantation companies,” Chairman of Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Riau Province, Larshen Yunus said to InfoSAWIT, Sunday (28/1/2024).
