CPO Tender at KPBN Increased on Friday (25/1), CPO Weekly Price Increased 2 Percent

InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was Rp 12.200/kg on Friday (26/1/2024), It means it increased Rp 10/kg or about 0,08% to Thursday (25/1/2024) tender that was Rp 12.190/kg.

What InfoSAWIT got from KPBN, CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 12.200/Kg. In Talang Duku it was Rp. 12.000/Kg but in withdraw (WD) with the highest bid Rp. 11.901/Kg.

Crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Lampung was Rp. 12.374/Kg but in WD with the highest bid Rp. 9.009/Kg.

What InfoSAWIT calculated from on 22-26 January 2024, CPO average price at KPBN increased about Rp 239/kg to be Rp 12.168/kg or about 2% compared to the previous period (15 - 19 January 2023) that was Rp. 11.929/kg.

CPO price at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper on Friday (26/1/2024) because other vegetable oils did too though it was predicted the production would decrease because of the higher exports in January.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO contract price with the code FCPOc3 for April 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 5 per ton or about sekitar 0,13% to be RM 3.989 (US$ 844,23) per metric ton in the midday. It stopped the increasing price.

In this week, CPO price increased 1,27% because of heavy rain in Malaysia, the second biggest palm oil producer in the world. It made the decreasing production prediction increase in January.
