InfoSAWIT, MUARA TEWEH – Regent of Barito Utara, H. Nadalsyah, did groundbreaking as the symbol to construct palm oil mill in Village of Bintang Ninggi I, Sub district of Teweh Selatan. The mill construction was the response to the increasing will of the people in palm oil cultivation in District of Barito Utara. It escalated fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production to be sold and processed.
After having suggestion, District of Barito Utara delivered chance for the investor, PT. Muara Teweh Argo Jaya Utama to construct the mill.
Director of PT. Muara Teweh Argo Jaya Utama, Nurman together with General Manager Jaya Irianto hoped that the presence of palm oil mill would significantly deliver impacts, namely to provide employment and escalate the local people’s economy particularly in District of Barito Utara.
"With our pleasure, we would accomplish palm oil mill construction to our older people here in Village of Bintang Ninggi I, for every party, and other related instances. Hopefully, everything runs well as we hoped for,” Nurman said, as InfoSAWIT quoted from the official page of District of Barito Utara.
Back to H. Nadalsyah, in his speech, he told that data from Plantation Agency Central Kalimantan Province, palm oil plantations laid about on 2.708,26 kilometer square or about 32,63% of District of Barito Utara. That is why he did welcome the investment by PT. Muara Teweh Agro Jaya Utama in the district.
"We hope that there would be many investors to construct rubber industries because rubber plantations have the potential in District of Barito Utara and around riverside of Barito. This would be the opportunity and our hope that Barito Utara would go forward from palm oil and rubber plantations. We would escalate the people’s welfare in this district,” H. Nadalsyah said. (T2)
